One Click Apps installs a deployment platform on your VPS, then lets you run applications from a catalogue of 342 projects, most of them open source. The applications run on your own instance; you keep SSH access and root privileges at all times.
One Click Apps is rolling out progressively. If the section does not appear on your instance yet, it is not enabled on your account yet.

Requirements

Prerequisites
  • A VPS running Debian or Ubuntu
  • At least 2 vCPUs, 2 GB of RAM and 30 GB of disk
  • The instance must be running
The feature is included with your VPS at no extra cost. Windows instances are not supported.

Install the platform

Open your instance

Log in to the console, open your instance and select One Click Apps in the left menu.

Check the requirements

The page lists the requirements and compares them with your instance. A requirement that is not met blocks the installation.

Start the installation

Select Install the platform. The task takes a few minutes and its progress is shown in the dialog.

Wait for the ready state

When the status badge shows Ready, the platform is installed and you can deploy your first application.

Firewall rules

The installation adds firewall rules to your instance, visible in the Firewall tab: If your instance already had custom firewall rules when you installed the platform, ports 80 and 443 are opened for you. Otherwise the previous inbound behaviour is preserved.

Memory budget

Memory is the limit on how many applications an instance can host. 1 GB is reserved for the operating system and the platform, and the remaining RAM is shared between the applications. The console shows the remaining budget on the platform page, and a deployment that would not fit is refused with an explicit message.

Responsibility

One Click Apps gives you a deployment platform on your own server. What runs on it is yours to operate.
You are responsible for the applications you deploy. That covers their configuration, their maintenance, their updates, their data, their backups and their security, as well as anything the applications themselves do or fail to do.OnetSolutions does not administer, monitor or debug the applications deployed through One Click Apps, and does not intervene inside them. Our support covers the instance itself: the server, its network, its storage and its availability.An application that no longer starts, loses data, is compromised, or breaks after an update is not covered by our support. The backups made by the platform live on your own instance and protect you from a mistake inside an application, not from the loss of the instance. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
The applications come from a public catalogue of projects, most of them open source. Each one is published under its own licence, sometimes commercial or source-available, by its own authors, and OnetSolutions gives no warranty on their operation, their fitness for a purpose or their continued availability in the catalogue.
