A control panel is a web interface installed on your VPS to manage your sites, applications and databases without using the command line. You choose it when you order or reinstall: OnetSolutions prepares the right system and installs the panel for you.

cPanel, Plesk and Cloudron licences are not included in your VPS plan: you buy them from their publisher.

Pick the plan

Order a VPS from the console or from a page of the website, for example Easypanel VPS.

Pick the panel

At the What do you want to install? step, open the Control panel tab and select a panel. If you arrive from a link that preselects a panel, only that panel is shown: select Change to see the others.

Check the summary

The operating system is chosen automatically for the panel. A plan that is too small for the panel is flagged with the required minimum.

Order

The installation starts on its own as soon as the server is ready, without typing a single command.

Install a panel on an existing VPS

From your instance, select Reinstall OS, then pick a panel in the Control panel tab.
Reinstalling erases all the data on the VPS. Back up your files before you continue.

Follow the installation

Your instance page shows a control panel card with the installation status: Once the panel is installed, the card shows the Open the panel button, the first sign-in instructions for that panel and a link to its official documentation.

Good to know

  • The panel is installed with your project SSH key: it is added to the server automatically, and you keep SSH access and root rights.
  • A control panel cannot be combined with a One Click App on the same instance.
  • Until a domain name is configured, some panels are served with a self-signed certificate: your browser shows a warning, this is expected.
