Incoming transfer

Transferring the domain consists of changing the provider of the domain name. This change implies that the previous provider will no longer be able to manage it.

Prerequisites

Before requesting the transfer of a domain name, you must ensure that : The domain is active and expires in more than 60 days The domain has been created for at least 60 days The email addresses of the owner and the administrator and technical contacts are valid and visible in the whois (this is the email to which the validation request will be sent). Unlock the domain at the current registrar in order to obtain the auth code that will be requested when ordering or validating the transfer.

How long does it take?

The transfer time of a domain name is variable, from 7 to 15 days.
