# Addon Domains

> Add and manage multiple domains on your web hosting account

An additional domain (also called addon domain) allows you to host multiple websites under a single hosting account. Each domain can have its own unique content, email accounts, and settings.

  * A Web Hosting service with OnetSolutions
  * A registered domain name pointing to your hosting server

## Adding an Additional Domain

<Steps>
  <Step title="Log in to cPanel">
    Access your cPanel account through the OnetSolutions dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Navigate to Addon Domains">
    Under the "Domains" section, click on "Addon Domains".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter domain details">
    In the "New Domain Name" field, enter the domain you wish to add.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure settings">
    cPanel will automatically populate the "Subdomain" and "Document Root" fields. You can modify these if needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a password">
    Enter a secure password or use the "Password Generator" for a strong password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the domain">
    Click "Add Domain" to complete the setup.
  </Step>

<Note>
  After adding the domain, update its DNS settings at your domain registrar to point to your OnetSolutions hosting server.
</Note>

## Domain Aliases

The Alias feature allows you to associate additional domain names that point to your primary domain. This is useful for:

* Registering multiple TLDs (.com, .net, .org) for the same website
* Creating alternative domain names that redirect to your main site
