# [Images] List public operating system images

> Retrieve a list of all publicly available operating system images. Public images include various Linux distributions, Windows Server editions, and pre-configured application stacks maintained by the platform.

    - `400` Bad Request

    - `401` Unauthorized

    - `403` Forbidden

    - `404` Not Found

    - `429` Too Many Requests
